Nicole Garcia is a Texas native now LA transplant and a nerd for all things Post Production. She worked her way up from Post PA on STARZ’s Party Down, to machine room operator at a creative agency, to Assistant Editor on reality shows. She is now the Director of Post Production with 32 Flavors, working on shows such as Vanderpump Rules and The Valley. Efficient workflows and problem solving are her jam and collaborating with her Post teams is where she truly shines. Nicole believes leading from the front benefits all and has focused on building creative spaces that are safe and fun, even under stressful deadlines. She’s been fortunate to have worked under many women in Post Production, and has taken on the role of mentor to the women who follow her, especially women of color. She continues to work to diversify post teams and provide BIPOC access to the tech side of the industry through organizations such as Film2Future. In her free time, Nicole is an avid and skilled baker (fun perk for her coworkers and friends), a Dodgers fan, and a pizza aficionado. And with a dog named Queso and cat named Chips, her love of food has no bounds. Ultimately, Nicole aims to nerd out indefinitely over workflows and help build strong, diversified Post teams across the industry.
