Our DNA, and the persistent element within everything we do, is as simple as it is pure: Start with the truth – in every idea, every message, and every relationship. That’s why even though we’re an agency, you won’t hear much agency-speak from us. We’d rather stay visionary but direct. Empathetic but focused. And always driven to produce results.
We study market research, audience behavior, data, the competitive landscape, platforms, trends, etc… all to power the thinking in all of our work. TL;DR version: We don’t just wing it or make stuff up, ever.

Dave is a co-founder of Nonfiction, and leads all things creative for the agency. He has over 20 years of experience leading creative vision, ideation, strategy, and all facets of creative execution.
Before co-founding Nonfiction, Dave served in several Executive Creative Director, Senior Creative Director, or national Creative Lead roles at marketing firms and advertising agencies including Lewis/Piston, Lewis PR, Rosetta (Publicis), Razorfish, Blitz, The Designory (TBWA/Omnicom), Team One Advertising, and Saatch & Saatchi.
Dave is a creative visionary, a brand shepherd and a strategic thinker. His work has been recognized by Communication Arts, Webbys, Addys, OMMAs, IAC, W3, The One Show, Forbes, the New York Times Best Sellers List, and many others. He has led major creative engagements for brands including Samsung, ESPN, Intel, Activision, Jaguar, Nissan, Infiniti, FX Networks, National Hockey League, Irvine Company, West Coast Choppers, and many more.
Dave is also a devoted Dad, an occasional marathoner, an adequate guitarist, and always one of the nicest guys in the room.
