Steelhead and Film2Future Partner to Empower Young Adults Creativity in New Grad School Program

Creative production shop Steelhead, in partnership with Film2Future (F2F), a non-profit organisation that empowers and introduces underprivileged, at-risk students to the film and creative industries, has announced the launch of its grAD School program. The three-week intensive summer course that is hosted at Steelhead’s facility in Playa Vista will introduce high school graduates to the advertising industry. The program will give 15-20 students the opportunity to collaborate with Deutsch, a creative and digital agency, to produce advertising work for its clients.

The F2F summer grAD School course will expose the students to the campaign-making process from start to finish: everything from the advertising brief to the production of 30-second spots. The program is designed to give students access, knowledge and real-world experience to bolster their portfolios.

“We are thrilled to expand our proven success of bringing diverse young students into Hollywood by partnering with Steelhead to focus on the advertising industry,” said Rachel Miller, founder of F2F. “Providing our students with the opportunity to take their creative ideas and put them toward real campaigns will be incredibly rewarding.”
